The new application, iMamma helps women to follow step by step their pregnancy with their iPhone. This is the first app designed for both mother and gynecologist, that was developed by a young italian medical visitor, Riccardo Fertitta, 28 ans, in collaboration with qualified Medical Practitioners at an international level.
The free iPhone app allows pregnant women to feel secured during their pregnancy in a variety of ways: from purely clinical advice or appointment to psychological, nutritional, aesthetic and general tips. However iMamma is not designed to substitute a healthcare provider. It was built to assist them in dispelling many myths and false taboos, women may be faced during the wonderful period of their life.
Since it was launched at the end of last April, iMamma was downloaded more than 15,000 times in Italia. It was also proposed at an international level, in several different languages mid-June, and counts today more than 5,000 downloads, essentially in Spain, USA, and Latin America.
