Facebook fall for the concept Glancee

While the social network should go public around May 17 (estimate), Facebook just acquired Glancee, a start-up which developped an app that makes it easy to meet people with common friends and similar interests! The amount of the transaction was not disclosed yet.

As Instagram, Glancee will bring Facebook an expertise on mobile internet site where community site is growing very fast but which business is really hard to monetize.

It seems that the application has already disappeared from the online application stores, AppStore and Google Play.

The three co-founders of the start-up, Andrea, Alberto and Gabriel,  have also been recruited by the social network, and have already joined the team in Menlo Park, “to build great products for over 900 millions Facebook users“.
