Disney Video Beta !

A new product just came out from the Disney Interactive Labs: the DISNEY VIDEO, which is a new place to watch Disney Video on the web. It was announced yesterday on twitter by Henry Work, a Senior Software Engineer working at Disney Interactive Labs.

This new video portal (video.disney.com) will gather all the best of past and present of Disney movies, with a whole lot of content that might not be found anywhere else, and all the best youtube video selected for all ages to enjoy.

The site is organized into 4 sections: movies, shows, collections and YouTube.

– In the movies section, you will find trailers, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with stars of upcoming and recent feature films,
– in the shows section: disney puts the spotlight on popular clips from the Disney Channel and related cable networks,
– in the collection section: video library is organized into themes,
– and the YouTube section provides a curated page full of kid-friendly content.

The company works also very hard on another aspect of the website to make it working on web browsers, delivered via Flash, as well as on mobile devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Android handsets and tablets.

Whatever device kids are using, the content is available!
