Warning out! Play Mario Kart on Facebook is a scam !

Gamers, and great lovers of Mario Kart, beware!Playing Mario Kart online on Facebook with its friends seems to be interesting. However, the offer claiming you can play “Mario Kart” on social networking site Facebook is nothing but a fast-spreading scam.

The messages do not just take the form of public status updates, but have also been distributed via private messages.

If you click on the link you will end up on a webpage which urges you to join the game. Unfortunately as soon as you press ‘Play Now’ you’ll not find yourself in the middle of a fast-moving road race with all your favorite Nintendo characters, but instead urged to complete an online survey or competition,” Sophos said in a blog post.

So if you catch a friend or loved one reaching for a Facebook game that looks too good to be true, please remind that it is too good to be true.
