Twitter apps updates for Android and IOS

The social network Twitter has just released news updates to its Android and IOS apps, bringing them directly in line with Twitter.com.

Twitter said in a blog post on last Tuesday, “Today you can download new versions of Twitter for iPhone and Twitter for Android. These new apps contain several updates to bring you closer to everything you care about.”
This update to version 4.3 adds new feature to the mobile Twitter apps:
  • Expanded tweets: users are able to view content within a tweet, such as a video or image,
  • Experience events: users can discover tweets and photos from live events by using special hashtags,
  • Push notifications: to know about everything your friends do on Twitter.
The updated Android and IOS Twitter apps can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the Itunes App Store, respectively.
