Amazon App shop for Android reached 50,000 applications

Amazon’s Appstore has passed the all-important 50,000 app mark after less than 18 months. Althought based on Android system, the american giant online sales is trying to up away from Google, and as a result, created their own Applications market.

For the succees story, the firm is offering a free app everyday. And the bet seems successful, since six months ago, the App Shop had more than 30,000 applications available. Finally, it took about 18 months to reach 50,505 apps.

We can find big apps succeess of the actual Play stores like Angry Birds, or Kindle (!). We hope there all will be optimized for tablet. Remain also that while an Amazon smartphone is in the works, the company has launched a pair of Kindle tablets this week.
