Samsung S3 now comes in pink

New Samsung Galaxy S3 color should be arriving in the near future as Samsung released new photos showing them off. Today they have been expanded by Samsung once again as the company now offers the smartphone in PINK.

This will be the seventh colors available, after the initial White and Pebble Blue.

New shades included Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Titanium Grey  and  Sapphire Black were also added a few weeks ago. The four new colors will probably boost the company’s sales significantly.

Of course, each color was hand selected by Samsung to match the overall “Inspired by Nature” theme and came with its very own back story. The description of each colored edition gives users a historical context on the gemstone and shade that inspired the Galaxy S3’s design.

For example:

Amber Brown: “Inspired by the mysterious and unique gem, which was believed to sustain the secrets of the earth inside it.”

Garnet Red: “Rare and special, the gemstone Almandite Garnet was worn as an amulet by the ancient Egyptians who believed the stone contained protective powers.”

Titanium Grey: “Inspired by the colour grey as a symbol for intelligence, insight and curiosity”.

Sapphire Black: “A colour that adds the mysterious power of dark stones to the refined, deep sophistication of the colour black, Sapphire Black is inspired by the stones used by the ancient people of India and Persia for protection, with the belief they strengthened one’s willpower.”

By expanding the colour range of the Samsung Galaxy S3, we are continuing to evolve the minimal organic design theme of the handset,” said Minhyouk Lee, Vice-President and lead designer of Samsung Galaxy S3.
