iOs 6.0.1 update with fixes for Screen Glitch and Camera WiFi Issues

On Thursday, the same day Apple released the iOS 6.1 beta to developers, the Cupertino, California based company also released iOS 6.0.1 an update for the users of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

iOS 6.0.1 keeps away a lot of minor bugs, comprising of a screen that would appear with the onscreen keyboard and a system that would result in camera flash to stay on.

 

The complete list of changes that iOS 6.0.1 addresses is below:

 

  • Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air (OTA),
  • Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard,
  • Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off,
  • Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks,
  • Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances,
  • Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match,
  • Fixes a Passcode Lock bug which sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen,
  • Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings.

iOS 6.0.1 is now available for download through the Settings on any iOS device, or from iTunes. However iOS 6.1 will be a larger update and is expected to arrive after the holidays.
