MWC2013: the low-end Galaxy STAR will be soon unveiled

Mobile World Congress kicks off early next week, and we’re already starting to get plenty of news on what to expect during the show.

Galaxy-StarThe latest rumor suggests Samsung may have a new entry-level smartphone in the works, currently dubbed the Galaxy Star GT-S5282, that would have similar specs to the Galaxy Y but running on Android Jelly Bean.

It will features an 3-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen display that offers 160×120 pixel resolution natively. At the rear there will be a modest 2 megapixel photo snapper and the phone will feature 4 GB on-board storage, a microSD card slot will also be provided for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
Galaxy Star will be studded with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and 1200 mAh battery.

The new Smartphone smartphone is rumored to hit the shelves in mid-April (week 15). The announcement will probably take place at the upcoming MWC in Barcelona.
