Logitech Harmony Touch, the touch too much Universal Remote Control

The Logitech Harmony Touch remote control will give you the power to operate your home entertainment system with just a finger.

logitech-harmony-touchIt features an intuitive one-touch interaction with a vibrant, color touchscreen that displays channel icons, number pad, and other settings so you can access all your favourite movies, shows, and more with a simple tap, touch or swipe.
The Harmony Touch is a nice-looking remote. In addition to the touchscreen, it offers 27 physical buttons. All the keys are backlit, and the display is clear and easy to read. It comes to life as soon as you touch it.

It can connect with up to 15 devices, and Logitech says it supports more than 225,000 products from 5,000 different companies. To set up initially the Harmony Touch, you first connect it to your computer using the USB cable. You will be guided to a site where you will have to set up your account. Then you can start setting up your Touch.

The Harmony Touch remote operates on a rechargeable battery, and comes with a charging cradle. Logitech estimates battery life at a couple of days when watching TV for a few hours a day.

The Logitech Harmony Touch performs its main duties well, and the addition of a touchscreen is a welcome idea. But the biggest hurdle may be its expensive $250 price tag.
